Nothing changes if we only say "No" to dolphinarium. We (WDSF and ProWal) stopped now four dolphinarium (Germany: Muenster, Soltau and Ruegen). How:
1) We proofed the fullfilling of national laws by dolphinarium - it was wrong and the owner of dolphinarium would have to pay more than millions to change the buildings for more windows a.s.o. - than they stopped it (Muenster/Germany).
2) We protested in front of the dolphinarium in every citiy and in the heart of the cities with dolphinarium and informed visitors and media (Muenster, Duisburg, Nuernberg and all dolphinarium in Turkey).
3) We gave out more than 50.000 flyers about the backrounds of the captivity of the dolphins in front of the dolphinarium every Saturday and Sunday over month (campaign works just now).
4) We pressured the travel tour operators like TUI, Thomas Cook (with Oeger Tours, Neckermann and Bucher), REWE-Touristic with Jahn-Travel and ITS, Alltours, FTI Touristic, Schauinslandreisen a.s.o. and send them photos and films about the terrible tanks where dolphins live (like Turkey) and about the animal abuse there - and they stopped all their tours to dolphinarium in Turkey, because we pressure them with public boycott!
5) We talked with the mayors of the cities with dolphinarium in Germany and Turkey, showed them the photos and films too, and now, two weeks ago, Bodrum Mayor wrote us, that he will close "his" dolphinarium (the owner has to pay for transfer the dolphins in a long programm for wildness) - all other mayors are asked by us to close their dolphinarium - if not, we will call up for boycott of this cities in medie and facebook.
